Short version: no analytics, no trackers, no cookies.
// visitor counter
- The counter stores one integer: the total.
- To avoid counting the same person twice in a day, it stores a short-lived key made from a keyed hash of your IP address and browser string. The hash key rotates daily, and the stored key expires after 24 hours.
- Your IP address itself is never stored by the counter, and it sets no cookies.
// hosting
- The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any host, Vercel may keep standard request logs. See Vercel's own privacy policy.
// guestbook
- Only the guestbook page loads giscus and talks to GitHub. If you sign in to post, GitHub's privacy policy applies to that.
